southwest paintings-murals-portraits

Chuck Caplinger’s Desert Art Studio & Gallery is located in Twentynine Palms, California, at the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park and the Mojave Desert. Chuck Caplinger is a master at portraying the wildlife and landscapes of the desert Southwest in his murals and oils on canvas. The Texas-born artist and his actress wife, Holgie Forrester, moved to Twentynine Palms, CA, in the Mojave Desert in 1997, trading a Hollywood studio for a spacious dome home near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The dome became Caplinger’s Desert Art Studio and Gallery where his southwest paintings-murals-portraits can be viewed by appointment.

Caplinger’s southwest paintings-murals-portraits hang in public and private collections around the world. His murals can be found in Twentynine Palms and throughout Southern California, as well as Texas. Original paintings and prints are for sale in his Desert Art Studio and Gallery (open by appointment). Appointments can be made by contacting Chuck. He is also available for painting commissions, custom portraits, murals, mural consulting, and private art instruction.
